Here is a slight departure from my usual posts, but I thought I would share anyway. On Saturday, we spent the day celebrating Ryan’s birthday at the Moaning Caverns near Murpheys, California. I was looking for something to do for Ryan’s birthday and my sister told me about these caverns. As you can imagine, it can be hard to find things the whole family will love these days but this was just the ticket! Broderick loves rocks, Dad loves adventure, and I love pretty things!

Broderick and I did the walking tour, while Dad rappelled down. It was great because we could watch him go the whole way down! I called the staff ahead of time to see if Broderick would be able to manage the stairs and they said yes; however, I would NEVER send my little one down those stairs. I could barley navigate them so I was so happy we brought our Ergo to keep him in (only front packs are allowed because the first set of steps are extremely tight and you would definitely bonk the little ones head in a backpack).
