I have been waiting for this day to come – the day to announce that my little brother and his wife are expecting their first child! Once you have your own children, your whole perspective on kids, babies, and family changes. Prior to my first baby being born, I would have given a little golf clap at this kind of news…you know, a “oh cool, your having a baby…so what’s for dinner?” I know, it might sound cold, but I just didn’t get the whole baby thing, I thought they were cute little humans that cry, whine, spit-up, and poop. Yes, they do do all of those things but I have learned that is only a small portion of the baby world. Babies provide laughter and hope. They open your heart up bigger than you ever thought possible. They change your relationship from being a husband and wife to being a family. They are warm bundles of joy that you squeeze and never want to let go.  They cause you sleepless nights that you wouldn’t change for the world because you know that they need you and only you. I am beyond excited for my brother and sister-in-law to enjoy this grand adventure and experience all of the joys and love a baby brings to a home.

On top of the great baby news, I absolutely LOVE how their photos turned out. I always guide my clients and tell them that creams, pastels, and lighter colors work best with my style of photography and I tell you, the pictures just shine when it all comes together! We had several texts and chats about wardrobe, props, and location to make sure we really achieved the right look and it’s safe to say they nailed it!

Congratulations Nick and Corynne! You are going to be amazing parents and we pray God wraps his big arms around your little peanut and keeps a safe watch over your little bundle!
